The simulator Comprises of Two systems: Driving Station and The Instructor Station.
Driving Station is where the driver sits and learns to drive the vehicle just like in a real Bus. The simulator uses actual Bus Cabin with actual interiors & vehicle controls for a realistic experience. Comprehensive 3D database with Driving scenarios of different terrains, weather, vehicles and road conditions are projected on a 180º screen for the front and side views by a high-definition projector and LCD screens are used for rear view in case of a Full scale Simulator.
Instructor Station controls the driver station. It also allows instructor to set scenarios, environmental conditions, inject on-line faults, keep track of all driving parameters and communicate with drivers. The instructor can also record and replay the entire performance of each trainee and can generate reports on customized parameters that can be saved and printed. The drivers can be tested in different forms and their levels of competence evaluated. |
